The MultiScanner i500 has several modes for different scanning needs:
StudScan Mode: Finds the center, edges, and direction of wood or metal studs up to 19 mm deep.
DeepScan® Mode: Doubles the scanning depth to 38 mm for thicker walls.
Metal Scan Mode: Detects non-ferrous metal like copper pipes up to 38 mm deep and ferrous metal such as rebar up to 76 mm deep.
AC Scan Mode: Locates live, unshielded AC electrical wiring up to 51 mm deep.
It also alerts you if live, unshielded electrical wires are present in all scanning modes. The scanner helps find the center of studs in a single pass, making marking easier and more precise.
Additional features include:
Projects a beam of light over the center of the target for accurate marking.
