Located 15 miles from Pine River; 11 miles from Crosslake
POSITION OVERVIEW: This position involves a wide variety of skills to keep Camp Foley’s facility maintained and functioning. These skills are widespread, including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, small engines (including Marine), tree cutting, and yard work. Each day is different.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
● Valid driver's license with safe driving record
● Basic plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry skills
● Knowledge of how to use a variety of tools and maintenance equipment
● Organized and detailed to complete services in professional manner
● Ability to lift 50 lbs + and actively work for up to 8 hours/day
● Positive attitude, hardworking and organized individual to work safely independently or as part of a team.
● Desire to learn and continue to advance your own skills
● Ability to report equipment, facility and ground issues to Executive Director
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
● Ability to do minor repairs to maintain equipment
● Bobcat, tree cutting, and plowing experience
● Ability to work with college aged employees is a fun and rewarding way
● Ability to work with contracted workers such as electricians, plumbers, painters, or carpenters
● Building management and facilities planning
COMPENSATION & HOURS:
● April 1-October 31 - Full Time; 40-50 hours/week
● November 1-March 31 - Full or Part Time (Negotiable either part or full time)
● Pay dependent on skills and experience; starting at $25/hour (hourly) or $50,000/year (salaried)
