Prospect British White/Jersey Stud Calf - $3,900 (Pine River, Mn)

His mom is a registered British White while his daddy is a registered A2A2 jersey from extremely good showing dairy lines (pictured below with registered pedigrees). Calvin is at this time being raised to stud out my herd (I run a “homesteader specialty” herd focused on producing rugged, high quality easy maintenance hybrid genetic milk cows), but I have another calf I am considering for that role as well, so I am seeing if anyone would be interested in Calvin.
Calvin is naturally polled, has an easygoing temperament and will make a fabulous beginner calf for anyone new to cows. If you have dreams of the show ring, Calvin’s flashy appearance and solid build will have every eye on you!
Calvin is currently still a bull calf, so if you’re looking for a potential sire with robust hybrid vigor genetics that will help your herd stand out from the crowd, Calvin’s your guy!
Currently just started halter breaking. He’s been by far the easiest calf I’ve ever halter broken. I can finish halter breaking him myself if desired by buyer for a little extra- but with how well he has carried himself so far, even a beginner could finish up training him in.
Calvin is still on milk- nursing off mom, once he is weaned, his price will go up, as I will also have him thoroughly halter broken by then.
