We recently lost his pasture companion and I hate having a horse alone.
19 yr old Gelding. Has not been ridden for almost five years due to me being pregnant and his pasture companion was blind and depended on him in the pasture.
16 Hands.
He is an easy keeper. Always kept his weight on in the winter. Stands for the farrier. He's currently in an electric ribbon fence but I don't have power to it and he respects it. You can walk right up to him in the pasture and catch him.
Hooves trimmed every 6 weeks, his front feet are shoed. I've had him in with our cows but he's currently in the horse pasture by himself being we had to unexpectedly put down our mare.
If someone can give him a better home than me, then sure but otherwise not in a real hurry to sell. I just feel bad that he's alone.
