Up for sale is this nice, rare Woodings & Verona, Great Northern Railway railroad spike remover. It weighs 27 lbs. and is 5 ft. long. On the left side of the remover about 14 inches up from the heel it reads "1. 40." 2 inches down it reads "GNRY." Great Northern Railway. On the right side about 8 inches above the heel is the famous Woodings & Verona logo. The overall condition is very good and this particular remover doesn't have the look of extensive use. I cleaned the entire remover and Fluid Film was applied. Fluid Film is a non-toxic, lanolin-based rust & corrosion inhibitor. The entire length of the remover is 60 in. (5 feet). The foot itself measures 7 1/2 in. long and at the widest point of the foot measures 2 7/8 in. It weighs 27 lbs. Check out my other spike remover I have up for sale.
