I have about 12 of these unfinished fireplace mantles. They are from a large red pine I took down on my property. They are all 6 feet long and are of various thicknesses. They range from 6 inches to about 3 inches of thickness. Most are rounded on the bottom like the example. A few are sawed on both sides, so they are more flat. I've posted four pictures of one that was installed in my home. It was simply sanded and sealed, it was not stained. So you can get an idea as to the natural color. They can be stained if you like. Let me know if you have questions or want more details.
