For sale here is a VERY NICE McCormick 1 1/2 HP engine. It is all original except for the muffler. Original trucks, decals and paint. Most of a part number can be seen on the front of the trucks. Regarding the muffler, it must be special. I have been offered an original muffler plus money for it. Also notice the brass magneto. The engine was last run in 2019, then stored in a heated building. I got it many years ago from a retired farmer who had bought it new. It came out of his barn. I know first hand that nothing has been changed on it, other than the muffler. Through my travels I found a spare fuel pump (valuable), an instruction manual and a flat belt, as would have been used back in the day. I’ll let them go with the engine. Study the pictures. It’s a very nice old engine, very collectible, I think, because it hasn’t been touched, other than running it. I want this engine to go to a good home as I am very partial to it. I am asking $1500 cash. I could deliver, possibly, within a reasonable distance from Backus. Thanks
