Original prototype of popular Roadside Attraction located in Bemidji Minnesota. Native American Ojubwe Chief Bemidji Shaynowishkung. Wooden statueby Gustaf Hinche, a lumberjack and harness maker. Shay-Now-Ish-Kung "He Who Rattles"
In 1901, near the end of Shaynowishkung’s life, a wooden statue of him carved by a lumberjack was erected in Bemidji. This statue was replaced by a second one in 1952. This statue is ONE OF A KIND and measures 37" tall. Made in Minnesota. Chippewa. Ojubwe. All original condition. Made of wood. See photos as part of description. Any questions?
