Early hand done and hand painted doll, made for training nurses back in the day. Was water proof/resistant and baby sized for learning.
She is a 'marked' Martha Jenks Chase (the artist), 21 inch doll.
She is rare and in very good condition.
Her gown and bonnet is made by a seamstress out of exquisite antique fabric and fits her beautifully and is in wonderful condition.
Also included are two articles regarding the Chase dolls and also an unused USPS commemorative stamp.
