Collection of vintage hair curling irons and tongs dating from the 1800s to the mid 20th century. The older models were made of wrought iron and had to be heated over a fire or stove.
The later models introduced wooden handles for safer handling and electric cords for convenience. These are for decorative collectible use only. The cords and wiring would not meet modern safety standards.
The set includes various types, such as Marcel wavers for creating waves and crimpers for texture. Note the pictures for condition issues.
